50/50 Day

Join thousands of film screenings around the world on May 10, 2017 to discuss how we are going to get to a more gender balanced world that is better for everyone. Using the same model of Character Day, all of these thousands of events will screen the 20 minute film 50/50: Rethinking the Past, Present, and Future of Women + Power (watch it here). They will then dive into printed discussion kits with conversation cards and discussion guides for different ages. There will also be a Global Livecast Q&A that links together all the screenings, featuring experts in the field of gender equality from all different perspectives. Participants can tap in to any or all of these speakers and ask questions through social media. Everything is free thanks to generous grants and donations. Sign up your company, school, family, or any other group! Learn more here.
