Ages 7 and Under

Student Portfolios by ClassDojo
ClassDojo Portfolios is a simple way for students to share what they’re learning back home. Students can share photos and videos of projects, create journal entries, and more. The result? Kids are extra motivated to do their best work and parents are better able to support at home, a win-win.

Growth Mindset Film Series bu ClassDojo
ClassDojo and Stanford’s PERTS Research Center teamed up to create the the first season of The Mojo Show. The five-episode video series (along with a few incredible activities) highlight the power of having a growth mindset, and how any student can learn this skill!

Empathy Film Series by ClassDojo
Empathy is a skill that anyone can build. But, why is it so important? Share this first chapter in a three-part video series all about empathy with your class. Mojo and the ClassDojo monsters put on a school musical, but face a big obstacle as Mojo’s ego gets in the way.

The Little Book of Character Strengths by June Russo
The Little Book of Character Strengths is a colorfully illustrated poem describing the meaning of twenty-four character strengths to a child and young adult audience. The book is based upon the VIA classification of character strengths.

Clubs by Ted Ed

The Mighty Project
The MIGHTY project facilitates meaningful ways for students to think deeply about who they are utilizing the VIA Classification of Strengths. Each month students will learn about the latest science of character strengths through journaling, reflection, and connection.

Kids with Character: Gratitude by Great Schools
Research shows that gratitude increases resilience, happiness, and optimism. This video of a 6th grader finds reasons to feel grateful every day.

Relationship Mapping by Making Caring Common

LRNG created a new playlist especially for Character Day to help youth prepare for the event and learn more about the science of character development.
